Alrighty, so I chatted with a cast member who said you can book a resort room up to 500 days in advance. In order to do this, you will need to contact
Tickets and Hotel Reservations, and a friendly cast member should be able to assist you with your booking. One thing I would like to mention is that booking a room in advance doesn’t guarantee you will get the room you are hoping for. You can submit a room request, and in my experience, they will do what they can to accommodate it.
Before we part ways, I would love to share my favorite place to learn about the newest additions and what's coming at Walt Disney World:
The Disney Parks Blog. This is a phenomenal place to learn about upcoming festivals at EPCOT and what they'll offer. You can also find out more about after-hours parties such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. My favorite, though, is when the post updates with the newest attractions, such as Tropical America at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Be sure to check back frequently since they update it regularly.
