Hey there, Kevin, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the planDisney panel with your question!
Kevin, reservations for
Disney Resorts Collection hotel stays can be made online or over the phone with a Walt Disney World Cast Member. Since you specifically mentioned spending time in Magic Kingdom, I suggest considering a stay at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort during your visit. The Contemporary Resort is so close to Magic Kingdom that you can walk right out of the hotel lobby and up to the front gate in less than 10 minutes!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and
Disney’s Polynesian Resort are also close to Magic Kingdom and are only a quick Monorail trip to put you at the front gate. And since all of the on-site resorts — from value to deluxe — offer complimentary transportation to the theme parks, you can’t go wrong with any resort in the Disney Resort Collection! Our family’s personal favorite value resort is
Disney's Pop Century Resort. The transportation to Magic Kingdom is by bus, but we usually don’t wait very long for one, and the drive goes quickly!
If you head to the Walt Disney World website, you will be able to see exact prices for each available resort for the dates you’d like and can book online immediately. But if you prefer, you can also reach out to a Cast Member at (407) 936-1936 to book your hotel accommodations. The Cast Member will be able to answer any questions you have and also provide real-time suggestions to make your visit as special as possible. And once you have your resort hotel reservation and Theme Park Tickets secured, be sure to book your
Theme Park Reservations through the Disney Park Pass system. Reservation availability for Magic Kingdom Theme Park can fill up fast, so you want to book it as soon as possible to guarantee you get to visit your desired park.
I hope this helps, Kevin! If you have more questions while planning your vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
You’ve got a friend in me,
PG
