I want to book a hotel Oct. 15-17 under $300/night.

Hi there, Catherine! Welcome to planDisney!

Planning a spur-of-the-moment vacation is so much fun! I just love it when I can wake up and say, "I think I'll go to Walt Disney World today!" Let's help you get your last-minute plans off the ground!

I took a quick look for availability at Disney Resorts Collection hotels this weekend, and I did find a couple of possibilities. Here's what came up when I searched for your dates just now:

     - Disney's Pop Century Resort  - $237/night
     - Disney's All-Star Music Resort  - $196/night
     - Disney's Art of Animation Resort (Little Mermaid section) -  $275/night

Those rates don't include tax and overnight parking, and they are subject to change, but it definitely looks like you have some choices! If you'd like to do a search, just hop over to the Resorts page on the Walt Disney World website. You can input your dates and the number of Guests to see a list of Resort hotels to choose from.

Another option you might try is to take a look at the Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels. These are off-property resorts and hotels that offer a mix of prices and amenities to accommodate any budget.

When you're ready to book your Resort hotel, you can do so online or by calling Guest Relations at the number listed under "Disney Resort Hotel Reservations."

One more thing, Catherine. Don't forget that you'll need to make Disney Park Pass reservations before you visit the theme parks!

I'm so excited for you to have a magical weekend at the Walt Disney World Resort, Catherine! I wish you lots of pixie-dusted fun, and I hope you'll come see us again real soon!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
