If I book a hotel that includes park tickets but, the parks are not available can i just book hotel and get ticket cost removed from the price?

Hi Amanda, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to see us with your question!

I'm so sorry you haven't been able to find Disney Park Pass availability for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. But I'm also glad you're thinking of ways that you can still enjoy the magic at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel. My family has done lots of Resort hotel stays without visiting the Theme Parks at all, and they've been some of our favorite trips!

Amanda, it sounds like you purchased a vacation package that includes a Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation and Theme Park tickets. Since you bought the package, you would likely need to cancel your current reservation and book a new room-only one to remove the Theme Park tickets. Your best bet is to call Walt Disney World Guest Services and have a Cast Member walk you through all of your options. They'll be able to help you make the best choice for your family.

I hope you're able to make the changes you need to have the vacation you're wishing for, Amanda. Please come back and see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
