I want to book a hotel for February 2024. I read that you can book 499 days ahead for hotel only. How?

    Welcome to planDisney, Anne!

How exciting that you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World for February 2024. By that time, you'll hopefully be able to experience Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana at EPCOT. This long-awaited attraction is going to be so much fun. I'm sure I'll come away having learned a lot about the importance of water too! I can't wait.

Anne, you used to be able to make room-only reservations up to 499 days in advance. However, Disney recently changed this policy. Now vacation packages and room-only reservations are released at the same time. My guess is that vacation packages and room-only reservations for 2024 will be released in late spring 2023. Around that time, I'd suggest checking out the Walt Disney World Resort website and Disney Parks Blog for any exciting announcements. Once those dates are released, you can go ahead and book your room.

To get you excited about your trip, my planDisney pals did a great podcast on Disney Resorts. You can also check out the handy Pocket Guides to the Disney Resorts on the planDisney website. These might help you decide which hotel you'd like to stay at.

I hope that's helpful, Anne. See ya real soon!
