Hello, Kelly! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your planning question for us. I'm happy to help get you your answer.
It's never too early to start thinking about a Disneyland visit. If you are wanting to make a
Disneyland Resort Hotel reservation separately, you can do this on the Disneyland website. Once you've made your hotel room selection, you will start the check out process. The first page will give you an option to add theme park tickets, but there is a "no ticket" option. Just select that option and continue on with the check out process. It's that easy! You will be asked to pay a deposit, and then it will show you the remainder that is due at check-in. For room-only reservations, cancellations need to be made at least 4 days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee. Now, if you were trying to book a Good Neighbor Hotel on the Disneyland website, these are only available as a Good Neighbor Hotel Package with theme park tickets. If you are looking for room-only Good Neighbor Hotels, you will need to book that through the hotel of choice.
Tickets will be your next planning step, and I just want to make sure you are aware that
theme park tickets and
theme park reservations are both required for entry into the parks. Ticket reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance. Then, 60 days in advance, you can start making
dining reservations. As we near the end of this year, information is starting to come out about 2026. Disneyland After Dark events were just announced recently for 2026, and we also know that the 70th Celebration will continue into the first part of the year. As you get closer to your visit, I recommend checking on the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements and exciting news.
Kelly, thanks again for stopping by!
