If I book a Hotel for 4 days (12/11-12/14) and i get the 2 day, 1 Park/day tickets, am I able to choose the days we go or does the first day start on the first day of the hotel booking?

Hi there, Savannah! I'm so glad you've dropped by planDisney with your question!

It sounds like you might be considering a vacation package, which includes a stay in a Disneyland Resort Hotel or Good Neighbor Hotel, plus your theme park tickets. In my opinion, this is such a great way to bundle together all your important vacation logistics, plus you get some fun extras included in your vacation package purchase!

The good news is that yes, you may select your days to visit the theme parks as your tickets will not become activated until they are first scanned at park entry. They are not automatically associated with the dates of your hotel stay. However, there are a few things you should note as you prepare for your visit. Remember that you will need both your valid admission ticket plus a park reservation for the date(s) on which you wish to visit your selected theme park. At this time, theme park reservations may be made up to 120 days in advance of your visit. You can keep your eye on the theme park reservation availability calendar and upcoming seasonal events as you get closer to this mark, especially since your dates will take place during the merriest season of all, the winter holidays at Disneyland Resort! Also, keep in mind that once your multi-day ticket has been scanned, it must be used within 13 days of its first use.

If you choose to book a vacation package, your Travel ePackage which contains your actual eTickets and barcodes will be delivered to your Disney account 4 days before your visit. However, you won't necessarily need to wait that long to secure your park reservations. You can do this by linking your vacation package confirmation number through the "My Hotel Reservations" page or on the official Disneyland mobile app. Then, you'll be able to follow the steps to confirm your theme park reservations corresponding to your selected visit dates. Here is a good set of instructions on how to link your hotel reservation so that you can proceed with booking theme park reservations, even if your eTickets have not yet arrived.

I hope this is a helpful start, Savannah, or if I misinterpreted your question and you'd like me to clarify anything, please feel welcome to come back and ask any follow-up questions! I'm hoping your next visit to Disneyland Resort is nothing short of spectacular!

    Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
