I want to book my home resort at Beach Club how do I do that

Hi Joanne, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you’re interested in a stay at Disney’s Beach Club Villas in the Fall. That’s a perfect time to visit, since this particular Disney Vacation Club Resort is just steps away from EPCOT’s International Gateway and all the delicious food and drinks at the International Food and Wine Festival. Now, let’s get to your question!

As you may know, DVC members can book villas at their Home Resort between 7 and 11 months in advance of their desired check-in date. This is known as your home resort priority period. Since your desired check-in is currently within this time period, that means only you and other Beach Club owners can book there for an October stay! There are two ways to book a DVC villa. The first way is through the DVC website. Once you’re logged in, simply select the desired Home Resort, room type, and desired check-in and check-out dates. If a Villa that matches your criteria is available, the website will indicate how many Vacation Points are needed to fulfill the reservation. It will also ask for details on the number of guests and their respective contact information. Once you submit the requested info, you’ll receive a confirmation number and you’re all set! The alternative way to book a DVC villa is to contact Member Services via telephone and have them conduct the search and fulfill the reservation on your behalf.

If your desired Villa is unavailable, don’t fret! You’ll have the option to create a Waitlist. By doing so, DVC can automatically book the Villa on your behalf if your desired dates become available. Joanne, here’s a bonus tip! If you see part of your desired dates available, I often recommend booking those dates and submitting a Waitlist for the remaining dates. If that Waitlist gets fulfilled, you can ask Member Services to combine the reservations into a single one.

Joanne, I hope this information is helpful for you as you begin your vacation planning for this Fall. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to me or my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
