Hi there, Gillian! Welcome back to planDisney, and thanks for asking this question! I'm thrilled to hear that you are considering
Disney After Hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios! My favorite park at Walt Disney World is
Hollywood Studios, and a special ticketed event is such a great way to fully experience all the fun this park has to offer.
As for your question, there is no complimentary transportation offered between Disney Springs and any of the theme parks, including Hollywood Studios, at any time. If you want to drive, there is no charge for
standard parking at Hollywood Studios for guests staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. You also have the convenient option of taking
Disney's complimentary resort transportation. This could be either Disney's Skyliner or bus service, depending on your resort.
If you are staying off-site, your best option would be to park at Hollywood Studios for a fee. You could check to see if your hotel offers a shuttle, but you would need to ensure that it operates during that time. The event is scheduled to end at 12:30 am the night of Wednesday, May 6. Finally, you could consider a rideshare service.
The event on Wednesday, May 6, starts at 9:30 pm, but your ticket will allow you entry into the park as early as 7 pm, so you can get a head start experiencing attractions, meeting your favorite characters, and enjoying those snacks! I hope you'll make time to ride
Toy Story Mania - it's one of my favorites! Even the queue is fun, walking through Andy's room as one of the toys. Once you board the ride vehicle, that's when the real excitement begins! You are now in a 4D carnival-style game using a spring-action shooter to aim at moving targets! My family loves this (mostly) friendly competition. My teens are always asking for a rematch! And one of the benefits of these events is lower wait times, so you'll have that opportunity!
One more thing, Gillian - if you haven't yet purchased your tickets for the After Hours Event, don't delay. Tickets are sold in limited quantities, and they often sell out.
I hope this helps! However you arrive at Hollywood Studios, I know you are going to have the most magical time! Please come back to planDisney if you have any more questions, and say "Hi," to Mickey for me!
Always Dreaming -
Elizabeth
