Rachel from England Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I want to book a holiday for two this summer - but I might need surgery so I might need to reschedule for Easter next year - will there be a charge to change the holiday dates - including flights, accommodation and theme park passes?

Welcome to planDisney, Rachel. Walt Disney World is so magical; there is so much joy to be had in planning your next adventure.

So, I've trawled through the terms and conditions on this. Any change to your booking is subject to availability and costs, and an amendment fee will also be charged. These costs would be confirmed with the Lead Passenger, but please know that any change resulting in your arrival date moving from one calendar year to another may be deemed a cancellation. In addition, cancelling scheduled airline tickets can result in up to a 100% cancellation fee, regardless of the amount of notice given.

I'm sorry this response hasn't evoked much joy so far, Rachel! The good news is that bookings can be made close to your desired departure date. Even within 7 days, you can call the Disney Experts and see if they can sprinkle some pixie dust to get you to Walt Disney World.

The even better news is that bookings are now open for 2024! This means you could reserve your Easter 2024 holiday at today's price and split the payment in a way that works for you! You'll also find greater availability across Disney Resort hotels, from a luxurious Deluxe Polynesian Villa to a more budget-conscious (yet still enchanting) room at Disney's Art of Animation.

Rachel, whichever option you decide to take, I know that you will make many core memories at the Most Magical Place on Earth. I will be right here for all your Walt Disney World questions, Louise.
