Ahoy there, Sandy! Thanks for sailing my way here at planDisney!
I’m so excited to hear that you’re looking forward to booking a Disney Cruise Line Vacation.
With everything that's included, any sailing is filled with value, but as the merchant from “Aladdin” said, “I see you are only interested in the exceptionally rare,” meaning getting the best deal you can when booking!
When it comes to staterooms on any of the
ships of the Disney Cruise Line fleet, Guaranteed Stateroom Categories, can be a great way to get a fantastic price on a vacation for you and your crew – assuming you’re absolutely sure of your travel dates! If the option isn’t available on the sailing you’re thinking of booking, that unfortunately means that the category is unable to be booked at this time. In my experience, popular sailings, newly released sailings, and those during peak travel times are difficult to find this type of room.
But don’t despair, if there is a specific sailing you’re looking for, and it is still off on the horizon it’s possible that Disney Cruise Line could begin offering them as the sailing gets closer! I’d suggest checking back three to four months before the sailing, as that’s when the paid-in-full dates traditionally start rolling around. You might just see a few pop-up!
Now, ironically, nothing is guaranteed of course, but here’s hoping for a bit of pixie dust for you! If you’re still looking to get a great deal and not willing to risk only having 60-90 days to plan, try looking right when new itineraries are released for the best prices available.
I hope that marks the treasure on your map well enough, Sandy! Thanks for your question, and if you have any others as you continue searching and planning, please send another message our way here at planDisney!
Until then, may your anchor be tight and your compass true!
Andrew
