Ahoy Mildred!
So happy that you have reached out to your Fairy Godmothers (and Godfathers) at the Disney Parks Moms Panel as you get ready for the grand ball of them all, your Disney cruise! What a festive sailing it will be with a large group of family and friends onboard for a
Very Merrytime Cruise. Sounds like the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit!
Here’s my advice:
contact Disney Cruise Line or a Travel Agent to make reservations for multiple staterooms. Although there isn’t a separate contact for group bookings, a Cruise Vacation Planning Specialist would be able to reserve all the staterooms for your party and then
link all the reservations together. With a few more flicks of the magic wand, arrangements can be made for all of you to be seated together or in close proximity in the
rotational dining rooms. Then you have the magic in your hands with the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to arrange all your onboard activities and
Port Adventures so they align with your friends and family.
Did you know that there are connecting staterooms on every Disney ship? Judging from your sail date, you will be on the Disney Dream, which boasts over 500 connecting doors to make those staterooms connect and feel more expansive. You will be able to find which staterooms have connecting doors using the
Deck Plans link and choosing your ship in the upper left-hand corner. The oceanview staterooms with verandahs can even have the partition removed to create a larger balcony space! I can say from experience that it makes for an excellent place to gather and share the day’s adventures and take in the scenic views.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help you navigate the cruise planning waters. Once you’ve set sail on your Disney cruise, I hope you will be able to say that the glass slipper fit and the DREAM that you wished came true!
Happy Sailing!
