Hey there, Maria, and welcome to planDisney! They say the early bird gets the worm! So it’s the perfect time to start planning your 2024 Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Your early planning is sure to make your visit extra magical.
Walt Disney World is currently booking arrivals through December 31, 2022 online. I am unsure when 2023 arrivals and beyond will be available for booking. However, you can reach out to a
Walt Disney Resort Hotel Reservations Cast Member at (407) 939-1936, and they may be able to share more information. While I doubt that the Cast Member team will have much information available for 2024 dates, you may find during the conversation that they will have tips that be especially helpful since you are planning for a large party! For this reason, I recommend chatting with the team so that you can have all of your questions answered and provide personalized recommendations to help make your visit magical. You may even find that you are able to visit sooner than you initially expected!
When planning, I like to break up my trip into three main parts: Resort Hotel, Dining, and Attractions.
Resort Hotel
Staying in a
Walt Disney World Resorts Collection hotel ensures that the vacation magic never stops! When staying as a large group, Disney has Deluxe tier Villas available throughout the Resort to provide Guests with larger accommodations. You can also request connecting or adjoining rooms at Value tier or Moderate tier resorts if your party is comfortable splitting up.
Dining
Disney Dining is the favorite part of my vacations and a destination all by itself! Dining is also a good way to break up a Theme Park day and pull a large group back together on a busy Theme Park day. When the time comes to make dining reservations for your vacation, keep in mind that reservations for large parties may require a call to the restaurant. But if sitting down for a meal isn’t your thing, there are many quick meals and snack options throughout the parks.
Attractions
Since it is unlikely that you will get to experience every attraction across Walt Disney World in a single trip; with four distinct theme parks and
more experiences and attractions than you could imagine, there is never a shortage of things to do! Within each theme park are a variety of thrill rides, shows, and various ride experiences, which means that from the youngest member of your party to the most seasoned, Disney is magical at any age! My toddlers love Anna and Elsa, so Frozen Ever After is always a must for our family. And if there are any thrill-seekers in your group, be sure to check out Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Magic Kingdom. And if your visit is in 2024, there may be even more magical thrill offerings available by the time you step foot in The Most Magical Place on Earth.
I hope this helps, Maria! If you have more questions while you plan,
stop back by and ask me. After all, you’ve got a friend in me!
Until Next Time,
PG
