If I book a good neighbor hotel vacation package with a $200 deposit, are the tickets available right away so that I can make a park reservation? Or do I have to wait until the package is paid in full?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Sicily. Oh boy, your visit to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it and we're so glad you stopped by to ask us this question.

I'm so excited to hear that you've booked a Disneyland Vacation Package. You will get to enjoy the extra magical benefits starting with an exclusive Walt Disney Travel Company pin and lanyard for all Guests aged 3 and over on your reservation. You will receive your theme park tickets via email four days prior to your arrival date. You absolutely do not have to wait until your tickets arrive to make your theme park reservations. In fact, I recommend you make them as soon as possible.

I took a peek at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and saw that your arrival date is available to reserve. To make your theme park reservations, you will first need to link your vacation package to your Disney account. At the Disneyland site, head to "My Hotel Reservations" under the heading "My Disneyland" towards the top right. Use your vacation package confirmation number to link your package which will allow you to then make your theme park reservations. I know I always feel better once I've secured my theme park reservations.

Something that's always on my mind when planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort is where I want to eat. Priorities, right? If you're thinking about enjoying a table service dining location, you can make advance dining reservations up to 60 days in advance. A couple of my favorite places to make reservations for are Lamplight Lounge in Disney California Adventure Park for brunch and Carnation Cafe in Disneyland Park for breakfast.

If quick service is more your style, I have good news for you. The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort will be in full swing during your visit and there will be plenty of delicious seasonal eats and treats to indulge in. Keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog for a post about the holiday Foodie Guide. If you haven't already, be sure to download the Disneyland app for the mobile order feature - it's my favorite time saver. Last, but not least, please add a Mickey gingerbread cookie to your list of must-eat treats - trust me.

Sicily, I'm so excited about your upcoming visit and hope you secure your theme park reservations soon. Walking down Main Street, U.S.A. under all of the twinkling lights is going to be so magical. Please come back to see us with any other questions as you continue to plan.
