If you have booked a
Lightning Lane reservation through the
Disney Genie+ Service and would like to cancel for 1 person, it's quite simple to do so. Find the reservation on the
My Disney Experience mobile app (usually on the main screen or by clicking the 3 horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner and selecting "Today's Plans"), select it, and click "Cancel." You will then select who you'd like to cancel the reservation for and follow the prompts to complete the process. Please note that
Individual Lightning Lanes (purchased separately from the Disney Genie+ Service) cannot be canceled or modified.

I also find purchasing Individual Lightning Lanes to be worth the purchase in addition to the Disney Genie+ Service as these are the most popular experiences at the resort. And the more popular, the longer the standby queues are. But the good news? You can choose to buy all of these options, a combination, or none. The power is in your hands, making you feel like the all-powerful Genie!
