How can I book a Galaxy Quest hotel in Disneyland, California?

    Hey there Anna,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! It sounds like you're starting to plan a trip to the Disneyland Resort - how exciting!

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with a Galaxy Quest hotel around the Happiest Place on Earth, but I'm happy to walk you through the three Disneyland Resort hotels that you can choose from.

First is Pixar Place Hotel, which was recently reimagined earlier this year. This hotel is your Pixar-themed home away from home that features some of your favorite characters from these iconic films and has some delicious dining options like the Great Maple Modern American Eatery. I haven't personally had the chance to stay here since this reimagining, but I've heard amazing things!

Second is the Disneyland Hotel, which is the "original" hotel of the Disneyland Resort dating all the way back to just a few months after Disneyland Park opened in 1955 - with many upgrades and expansions since then, of course! This is typically the hotel my family and I stay in to really capture that "Disney Magic" for the whole trip. We also love grabbing a coffee from The Coffee House on the way into the parks in the morning, and the fact that it's very close to the Downtown Disney District Monorail stop.

Third is the most luxurious of all the Disneyland Resort options - Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. With this hotel, you'll feel like you were transported to a spacious lodge nestled in the woods. Personally, this hotel has always felt the most relaxing, spacious, and calming, but it does tend to be pricier than the other options.

With all Disneyland Resort hotels, you'll also get to enjoy some additional perks. You'll have the ability to enter one of the parks 30-minutes prior to its general opening with the Early Entry feature. Additionally, Guests from all three hotels enjoy staying in close proximity to the parks and can use entrances to Disney California Adventure Park that are accessible through Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

I hope that's helpful, Anna! Have a wonderful time visiting the Happiest Place on Earth, and feel free to come back and see us here at planDisney as you continue to plan. We'd love to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
