If I am going to book my first WDW trip in January 2014 for a September visit, and am *hoping* free dining will be offered at some point before next September, do I go ahead and book a dining plan? Or do I book no dining plan?

    Hi Kristina!

A big congratulations on planning your first Walt Disney World vacation, you have a lot of wonderful memories waiting to be made!  One of my families favorite activities at Walt Disney World is eating all of the yummy food found throughout Walt Disney World and what can be better than eating all this incredible food for free!? I just did this very thing for my upcoming vacation in September and realistically it doesn't make a difference one way or the other if you choose to add Disney's Dining Plan or to wait to see if the promotion becomes available for your travel dates.  Although, it was nice to hear how much that balanced dropped after adding the discount.  I would suggest that if you are going to use Disney's Dining Plan no matter what, then I would go ahead and add it to your reservation.  Remember that if you do add Disney's Dining Plan, you have up until 72 hours before you check-in to remove it if you decide that you do not want to participate in the dining plan.

I hope you have a magical vacation and please let me know if you have anymore questions!

    Bon Appetit!
