We are about to book our first cruise on the Magic Ship. I was just wondering if there is anything I need to make reservations for now? Such as character meetings or anything else we don't know about that will require a reservation?

    Ahoy Heath!

I'm so excited for you!  My first Disney cruise was on the Disney Magic.  My family and I love it so much that we'll be sailing on it again next month...for the 4th time!  You're going to be amazed at all there is to see and do aboard that incredible ship.

You can pre-book the following on all Disney cruise ships: Port Adventures, Adult Dining, Spa & Fitness, and nursery services. Please check the Cruise Activities Overview link that I've attached for more information.

As for character meet and greets, they don't need reservations.  Each evening your stateroom host will deliver your Personal Navigator during turndown service.  It's Disney Cruise Line's daily newsletter which contains all of the activities and character meet and greet information for the following day.  Make sure to carry it with you. It's impossible to keep track of everything that's going on without it.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel Heath. Have a wonderful trip!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
