How do I book the fireworks cruise?

Welcome to planDisney Claire, and thank you so much for your question! It sounds like your family is gearing up for a very special visit to Walt Disney World Resort. A fireworks cruise is one of the most magical ways to end a day at Walt Disney World Resort. There’s just something unforgettable about watching the night sky light up from the comfort of a private boat on the water. Whether you're celebrating something special or just looking to add an extra bit of pixie dust to your trip, I’d be happy to help you navigate the process of booking this unforgettable experience.

To book a fireworks cruise at Walt Disney World, you can either go online through the My Disney Experience app or the official Disney website, or call Disney directly at (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529. Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance, and it's best to book as early as possible since these cruises are very popular.

Fireworks cruises are private boat experiences that provide exclusive views of nighttime shows like Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom or Luminous: The Symphony of Us at EPCOT. Each cruise includes a private pontoon boat with a captain, snacks, soft drinks, and music synchronized to the fireworks. These boats can accommodate up to 10 guests, making them a great optionif you have a bigger party.

For Magic Kingdom, cruises depart from the Boat Nook Marina at Disney’s Contemporary Resort to view Happily Ever After. Additional pickup locations may be available within the Magic Kingdom area by visiting your Resort concierge or calling (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529 after booking your cruise. For EPCOT, cruises depart from the Bayside Marina at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts.

Pricing currently starts around $449 plus tax per boat. The cost includes the boat rental, captain, snacks, and beverages. You can also request decorations or special touches if you're celebrating something, such as a birthday or anniversary.

Guests should arrive at the marina about 1 hour and 15 minutes before the fireworks begin to allow time for boarding and departure. If your children have specific needs, be sure to mention that during booking so Cast Members can make any necessary accommodations.

Claire, I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
