When i book my fast passes 60 days before arrival, can i start booking for our arrival day and at the same time can my wife start booking fast passes from our last day working backwards?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christopher! Thanks for stopping by with your question!

In my opinion, one of the best perks of staying at a Disney Resort Hotel is the ability to book those Fastpasses 60 days in advance of your arrival. My husband and I have developed a Fastpass+ ritual which is exactly what you describe with the addition of an early morning pot of coffee. We like to "divide and conquer" our Fastpass+ choices and since we are connected under our respective My Disney Experience accounts, we are easily able to book Fastpasses for separate days simultaneously.

Christopher, I also have two additional recommendations for Fastpass+ success. First, when we are planning for our upcoming vacation, we prioritize our attractions before our Fastpass+ booking window opens. We then try to book in that order. For instance, if our number one attraction is Avatar Flight of Passage and we are planning to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom on day #3, that would be the first thing we book. If Soarin' Around the World at EPCOT is our second priority and we are visiting on day #5, that would be the second thing we book.

My second tip is to make sure both you and your wife are logged into your My Disney Experience accounts a few minutes before the 7:00 AM Eastern opening time. You never know what internet glitches will happen at the most inopportune times, so I like to give myself a few extra minutes.

Christopher, I hope this helps as you are excitedly making your list of must-do attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort. Come on back and see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have. We are happy to help.

Wishing you a vacation as wonderful as the view from one of my family favorites, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
