Hi, Jamie! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
I'm so glad to hear that you're thinking about booking a
Fantasmic! Dining Package for your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You're definitely going to want to have a good view to watch the power of Mickey's imagination in
Fantasmic!, and booking a Fantasmic! Dining Package ensures a great seat for the show without an extensive wait. VIP seating for the show combined with a delicious meal makes the Fantasmic! Dining Package a must-do for your day at
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
My family and I just did the Fantasmic! Dining Package during our most recent visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios. We enjoyed dinner at
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. The theming at this restaurant is so unique and fun! Really though, you can't go wrong with any of the Fantasmic! Dining Package restaurant choices. These dining packages book quickly, so be sure to secure your reservations 60 days in advance. If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you will be able to book dining reservations for your entire trip (up to 10 days) 60 days before your arrival date.
Guests who have booked a Fantasmic! Dining Package will receive vouchers for everyone in their dining party at the end of their meal. These vouchers will be used as your admission ticket for the reserved seating area at the show. Your show time will be printed on your voucher, and if there is more than one performance of Fantasmic! on the date of your visit, you will be assigned to a particular show. Guests with dining reservation times that are earlier in the day will likely be assigned to the earlier showing of Fantasmic!, while later reservation times will receive vouchers for the later show. That way you will have plenty of time to enjoy your meal.
Seating for Fantasmic! begins 90 minutes prior to the show time. To access the reserved seating area, look for the Fantasmic! Dining Package signs on Sunset Boulevard next to
Beauty & The Beast Live on Stage. As long as you arrive at least 25 minutes before the show begins, you will be guaranteed a seat in the reserved area. However, the seating within this reserved section is first-come, first-served, so I would still suggest arriving on the earlier side for the best selection of seats.
Jamie, if we can answer any additional questions as you get ready for your trip, please don't hesitate to ask. Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
