Hi there, Darya, and welcome to planDisney!
Get ready to enjoy the magic of the holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. From the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays to the wintry decor around the theme parks, Disney Springs, and the Disney Resorts Collection hotels (
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is my favorite during this time), you will be wrapped in the warmth of all-things-merry-and-bright. Now, let’s get into how sharing bites to eat will work while you’re on vacation.
If you’re enjoying a meal at a restaurant that serves its food a la carte, or separately priced, then party members pay by the dish and not for their seat. So, if you’ve eaten your fair share of DOLE Whips for the day, no worries about not ordering anything on your own or even sharing a plate with a loved one. However, if you’re eating at a restaurant with a prix fixe menu like at EPCOT’s
Space 220 Restaurant, Magic Kingdom Park’s
Be Our Guest Restaurant (for lunch and dinner), and any character dining experience, be prepared to pay per Guest even if they don’t eat.
I recommend that once your advance dining reservation window opens (60 days before you arrive), go ahead and make a reservation for all four people in your party. If some decide that they don’t want to join the rest of the crew, simply modify the reservation when checking in to your dining experience in-person or in the
My Disney Experience App. Darya, I just know that you are going to have the
best time at The Most Magical Place on Earth. Until then, if you have any additional Disney vacation planning questions,
give us a holler here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
