Welcome to planDisney, Paula!
I'm so glad you stopped by with your question today. In addition to using my Vacation Points to experience the magic of Disney Destinations year after year, one of my favorite parts of Disney Vacation Club Membership is all the ways we can use our
Member Benefits to sprinkle a little
extra pixie dust on each visit. Whether you're attending a Member-exclusive event like Moonlight Magic, taking advantage of dining and merchandise discounts across Walt Disney World Resort, or stopping in to enjoy a little rest and relaxation in the EPCOT Member lounge (to name just a few), there are tons of ways to put your Disney Vacation Club Membership to work for your and your family. I'm excited to hear that you're considering booking an experience from the
Enchanting Extras Collection during your next visit, and I'm happy to share a few details about the booking process with you.
While you're welcome to give
Member Services a call in order to book your Enchanting Extras, you can also take advantage of your Disney Vacation Club discount when you book these experiences directly on the Walt Disney Word website. However, in order for your discount to appear during the checkout process, you'll need to make sure your Disney Vacation Club account is connected to your My Disney Experience account. If you've already done that, you should see your applicable DVC discount automatically applied once you sign in. If you haven't gotten a chance to connect your account yet, here's what you'll need to do:
1. Sign in to your My Disney Experience account on the Walt Disney World website.
2. Hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab and select "Paula Profile" from the drop-down menu.
3. Click on "Memberships & Passes".
4. Select "Add Your Disney Vacation Club Membership" and continue following the onscreen prompts to connect your accounts.
Once you've finished the connection process, your account should start applying your DVC discount to your Enchanting Extras purchase, however, if you're not seeing a discount that you believe should be there, I recommend reaching out to Member Services directly at (800) 800-9800 or through the handy chat feature on the DVC website. They should be able to provide you with more information and help you troubleshoot any problems.
I hope this helped answer your question, Paula, and I really appreciate you visiting planDisney. If you need more information or think of new questions as your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort gets closer, please feel free to stop by again –– we're always here to lend a helping hand!
Happy Planning,
Amy
