If we were to book during a "free dining" period and stayed a value resort could we pay the difference and upgrade to the dining plan that includes table service

    Hi, Kimberly!

Don't you just love when Free Dining is offered! What a great way to save money on your magical Walt Disney World vacation.

If your special offer includes the Quick Service dining plan, you can certainly upgrade to the regular Disney Dining Plan. There will be an additional cost for the upgrade, but it will be worthwhile if you plan to enjoy 1 Table Service meal per night of your stay.

To book by phone, call (407)827-7359. A friendly cast member will be happy to let you know the cost of your vacation, and the charge to upgrade your dining package. I have done this in the past and have been quite pleased to pay the extra cost to get those Table Service credits.

When Free Dining is announced, make sure to book quickly as the number of rooms available with this rate is limited. You will also want to read the fine print as not all dates or resorts are eligible. When in doubt, just call to get the scoop!

I hope you are able to find the perfect vacation offer for your family!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
