If we book a Disneyworld vacation now and free dining is offered later on during the week of our stay, do we get the free dining offer deducted from our reservation rate? Or should I wait to book?

    Hi James,

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I see you are planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort. How exciting!

The Disney Dining Plans are a great way to minimize concerns about meal budgets and you simply include it as part of your Magic Your Way Vacation Package. My family’s dilemma is which restaurants to choose. So many options!

Mickey is always helping us save some Disney Dollars with some amazing Special Offers. If an offer such as Free Dining would come out before the start of your vacation, you would have to speak to a Vacation Planning Specialist at (407) 939-1936 or your travel agent, to see if they can apply the offer to your reservation. Note that your Resort hotel or dates may not be available so it is possible you many need to adjust your plans. Also, note that changes done within 30 days of your arrival may result in a change fee, but you will surely save in any case.

One last tip: remember to download the My Disney Experience mobile app. This will help you check and make any dining reservations you could not find before, since some Guests change their plans at the last minute. See you real soon!
