    When can we book a Disneyworld resort hotel stay for January 2024....?? On the PlanDisney website, it says you can book HOTEL ONLY for 499 days ahead of when you want to stay. I called an agent and they were not able to book anything for me.

    I hope I'm able to clear up any confusion so that you can continue on your planning journey. And... Michelle, my family and I are also planning on visiting Mickey Mouse in 2024, so I appreciate this question! 

    Formerly, guests could book Disney Resort Hotel accommodations (room-only) in advance as you mentioned, however, this practice has changed. At this time, only trips through the end of 2023 are able to be secured. While I don't have the Evil Queen's magic mirror to help see what's coming, last year, packages went on sale at the beginning of June for 2023 arrivals. An article was posted on the Disney Parks Blog in the middle of May announcing upcoming events for the following year including the first booking date. I'm hopeful that we'll see information pop up in the next month.

    My best advice so that you can plan your trip as soon as possible is to bookmark the Disney Parks Blog and follow @planDisneypanel on Instagram to be among the first to know when 2024 options open up. I know that I'll be doing the same!
