Is there a way i can book a Disneyworld hotel without the Dining plan, so for a lower price. I can't find a way to book a hotel without the plan included. Its automatically adding it to my quote. Thank you

    Hi Jackie!
    Welcome to planDisney.

It's always a pleasure to assist my fellow guests from the UK, and I'm happy to talk through the different options of room bookings with/without adding a dining plan.

The Free Dining & Drinks offer is outstanding value, and I'll discuss that later, but if you want to simply book a Disney Resort hotel and park tickets, there are some categories of room that do not automatically include the free dining plan.  These are:

Value ResortsDisney's Art of Animation Resort: Little Mermaid Standard Rooms.

Moderate Resorts: Disney's Caribbean Resort: Standard and Water View Rooms, and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter: Pool View Rooms.

Deluxe Resorts: Too many to list, but mostly the rooms excluded are Club Level Rooms, and 3-bed Villas and Suites - you can see the full list in the Terms & Conditions here - scroll down to the bottom to the 'Participating Hotels and Dining Options'.

When you go through the booking process online for the above-mentioned hotel rooms, you'll come to a page headed "Add Disney Dining" giving you the option to buy the Disney dining plans with your booking, just scroll to the bottom of that page and click on "Continue without a dining plan".

Please read through all the information about the Free Dining & Drinks offer, because maybe it will work out better value for you to add a free dining plan to your booking.  If you are choosing a Moderate Resort, the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is included, giving you, per guest, per day, 2 Quick-Service Meals (including a drink - alcoholic/non-alcoholic with each meal), 1 Snack and a Resort Refillable Mug for free refills of select fountain drinks, and tea, coffee and hot chocolate at the beverage stations at all Disney Resort hotels for up to 14 days.  The Disney Dining Plan is included with stays at Deluxe Resorts, or you can upgrade your dining plan if you are staying at a Moderate Resort.  With this, you'll receive - per guest, per day - 1 Table-Service Meal, 1 Quick-Service Meal (a drink included with each meal), 1 Snack, and 1 Resort Refillable Mug.

Please come back and visit us again if you have any further questions, and you can send me a direct question if you would like any more information on how to make the Disney dining plans work for your family, or ask me anything else!  We will be happy to help you plan your magical holiday to Walt Disney World.
