Greetings, and welcome to
planDisney, Esther!
Thank you for consulting planDisney with your excellent question, it gives me great joy to hear that you are planning a visit to
Disneyland Resort with your family to celebrate the New Year.
Disneyland Resort will be at the center of 100 years of Disney magic, therefore it’s the perfect time to visit!
Booking a
Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package is the best way to experience many
special perks as a Guest at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. According to
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel – Updates there is currently no listed date of renovation completion, but there are many modifications in place to ensure Guests have an enjoyable stay. When considering Guest Rooms for your travel party, you may wish to look at
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel - Guest Rooms in the Suite categories which offer 1 and 2-bedroom accommodations, this way you can all be together. Or, if you wish, you can book two separate standard Guest Rooms and place a request that the rooms be in close vicinity, while every effort will be made to accommodate your request, there are no guarantees. Please note, that to book two standard Guest Rooms would require two separate bookings on your Disney account.
Disneyland Resort theme park calendar hours can be located by selecting the
Parks and Tickets tab on the main page. When you place your cursor over the tab, in the dropdown you will see
Park Hours on the light blue section on the right side. Hours for the new year will be filling in soon, so keep a close watch, Esther.
When booking a
Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package, please ensure you link the vacation package to your Disney account by accessing
My Hotel Reservation using the package reservation number. This will enable you to secure the required
Disneyland Resort – Theme Park Reservations for each day of valid theme park admission for all in your travel party on the reservation. By linking your vacation package to your Disney account, you will facilitate the electronic delivery of your Travel ePackage (itinerary, theme park tickets and Magical Extras voucher) to your Disney account 4-days before your arrival.
Don’t worry, when your Travel ePackage arrives in your Disney account online you will be able to view and print your documents via
My Hotel Reservation. Or, if using the
Disneyland Mobile App you can also access your Travel ePackage via
My Hotel Reservation where you will see the option to
Get eTickets, to see your tickets on the
Tickets and Passes section which you can use for scanning to enter a theme park. I recommend bringing your printed version of your theme park tickets with you in case of an app glitch.
Esther, I hope this information is helpful, please stop by planDisney for more advice to help make this the most magical vacation ever!
Best Disney Wishes!
Jacqueline
