I want to book a Disneyland vacation package for January 2026 but online does not have those dates available yet? When will those dates show up online?

    Hi Christine,

Welcome to planDisney! Having a Disneyland vacation to look forward to always keeps me motivated at work, so I completely understand your excitement about booking a Disneyland vacation package for January.

Vacation packages and hotel reservations are currently available to book through the end of 2025. While we haven’t heard an official release date for 2026 bookings just yet, be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates on booking windows, celebration details, and new offerings headed to the Disneyland Resort. Once bookings open, you can get assistance with your hotel reservation by calling the Walt Disney Travel Company at (714) 956-6425. They’re available daily from 7 AM to 9 PM, and a Cast Member will be happy to help you.

One of the perks of staying at any of the three Disneyland Resort hotels is Early Entry into the parks. Typically, the parks open at 8:00 AM, but with Early Entry, you can enter at 7:30 AM! Be sure to use the special entrance to California Adventure to get a head start on the crowds. As of now, Early Entry at California Adventure is offered on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

As you plan your January 2026 trip, keep in mind that the Lunar New Year Celebration may be happening during your visit. It’s one of my favorite events at California Adventure! I love all the cultural food and entertainment that comes to the park during this time. I visited with a friend earlier in 2025, and we loved meeting Minnie and Mickey; this year, they wore traditional Korean attire! Guests may also see rare characters like Mulan and Mushu, which makes the celebration even more special.

Christine, I hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions or need advice, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow panelists. We’d be happy to share more tips to make your visit extra magical.

    Have a wonderful trip!
