When can I book disneyland hotels for January 2024. I'm running the half n would like to make my arrangements sooner rather than later.

Hi Paula! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

I'm excited for the 2024 reservations for Disneyland Resort Hotels to open too. I'm looking forward to a March trip, and with your dates being even sooner thanks to the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend, I'm sure you've been checking repeatedly just like me. I wish I had Madame Leota's crystal ball, so I could speak to the spirits and provide you with information on when we can expect these reservations to become available. Unfortunately, I don't. Usually, these dates have opened up in late summer, so I hope they'll become available soon. You might make a habit of checking every morning. With a little Pixie Dust, we'll know soon!

In the meantime, have you picked which of the Disneyland Resort Hotels would be your first choice? You can't go wrong with their magical theming, yummy dining choices, and access to the parks. Our family favorite is Disneyland Hotel. We love the retro theme, Goofy's Kitchen and Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill, and the convenient location by the Disneyland Monorail, which will take you right into Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park. Plus, it's an attraction itself and gives you the most magical views of the resort.

I don't know if you're familiar with Disneyland Resort in January but despite it being Southern California, you should plan for the possibility of some rain during your visit. Quick-drying shoes, extra socks, and a poncho aren't a bad idea. I'd also pack a jacket or a sweatshirt to throw in your park bag as the temperatures won't typically go above the mid-60s and can get chilly in the evening. Layers are helpful for unpredictable weather.

    I hope this helps!
