Hi Patty,
Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I'd be happy to help as you make plans to visit
Disneyland Resort next year.
You'll be glad to know that
Disney Gift Cards are an accepted form of payment when purchasing theme park tickets or room and ticket
Vacation Packages. You'll have the option to apply one gift card to your transaction and pay any remaining balance with a second form of payment. But not to worry if you're hoping to apply multiple gift cards to your purchase. There's a quick way to merge the balances of multiple cards onto a single card.
Head on over to DisneyGiftCard.com and create an account. Once signed in navigate to "My Cards" and enter the 16-digit card number and security codes for each of your Disney Gift Cards. You'll be able to assign a nickname to each card to keep everything clear and organized. Once your cards are all logged on the site you can transfer the balances onto the card of your choosing up to a maximum of $1,000. Keep in mind that this website cannot be used as a wallet and you should maintain possession of your physical gift cards and Disney eGift Cards to complete your purchases.
You'll also be able to use a Disney Gift Card when
making payments to your Vacation Package, in addition to an endless array of dining and merchandise purchases on property. This is a big reason my kids always ask for Disney Gift Cards when it's time for holiday shopping. They always know they'll find a special souvenir that just
has to come home on their next trip. Let's face it, I'm usually shopping right along with them!
I hope this was helpful Patty. If I've misunderstood your request or you have additional questions please don't hesitate to reach out to us again. We're always glad to help.
Magic and memories,
Amy
