    Hi! If I book my Disney world package through Costco, will I still be able to call and/or through chat to request a room preference or crib/bed rails myself, or do I need Costco rep to make that arrangement:request?

    Kim, how exciting that you are planning a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. If you haven't been to Walt Disney World recently, make sure any thrill seekers in your party don't miss the newest attraction at Magic Kingdom Park: TRON Lightcycle / Run

    Now, when you're not racing through the grid, you might want to be splashing around the pool at your Disney Resort Hotel or maybe relaxing to recharge for your next day in the park. Either way, let's dive into your question. If you book your vacation package through Costco or any other third-party vendor, you'll just need to make sure you have a confirmation reservation number to link to your My Disney Experience account. Through this (complimentary) account you'll be able to complete online check-in, make dining reservations, request a boarding group, and more. If you don't yet have a My Disney Experience account, you'll want to create that first. Once you have that account, you can link your reservation

    After your reservation has been linked to your My Disney Experience account, you'll be able to submit requests. There are a few ways to do this. When you complete your online check-in, you'll have options regarding your room, under the heading "Room Requests" when applicable. (Note: The options are resort specific. For example, on my upcoming stay at Disney's Riviera Resort, I can indicate one of the following: near the lobby, near an elevator, or near the Skyliner as my top preference. The choices would be different at a different resort.) If you don't see the option matching your request, you can email your request or call and speak to a Cast Member. You can also request a crib or bed rails by email or phone. Just make sure you have your reservation number handy when you email or call.
