I would like to book a Disney vacation for October 2023 but when I look at rooms the calendar does not let me go that far in advance how can I book my trip

    Chim Chim Cher-ee, Brooke!

I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney.  As someone who loves to plan ahead (especially when anything Disney is involved), I'm excited to hear that you're already thinking about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation in October 2023.  With so much time to dream up all the details, I'm sure your upcoming trip will be practically perfect in every way!  If you ask me, the best place to start when planning a "Jolly Holiday" is choosing the right Disney Resorts Collection hotel for your stay, so I'm happy to share a few details about booking your stay a year or more in advance.

While you won't be able to book hotel rooms online for 2023 till later this summer, the great news is that reservations for Resort-only stays at Disney Resorts Collection hotels and campgrounds can be made 499 days before check-in by calling (407) 939-1936 –– that means you'll be able to start booking stays over the phone for October 2023 in late-May 2022.  It's likely that you may only be able to book your hotel reservation that far in advance, but don't worry –– you'll have the option to upgrade to a vacation package or apply any special offers if those details are released after you've confirmed your reservation.

We won't have any specific 2023 details for a while, but October is such a fun time to visit Walt Disney World.  Not only will the theme parks be dressed up for Halloween and filled with fun treats, but there are usually lots of exciting events to experience as well, like EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and last year's all-new Disney After Hours Boo Bash.  Be sure to keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news and updates as you get closer to your trip!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Brooke.  If you think of any other questions as you plan your supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Walt Disney World vacation, please come back and visit us again –– we're always here to help!
