If I book a Disney package and pay the deposit now, can I use my Disney Rewards Redemption Card towards the remaining balance later?

    Hi there, Craig!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for coming to us with your question. It sounds like you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort so you've come to the right place for tips and advice! It's a great year to visit because the Disney100 Celebration is currently in full swing and the new foods and platinum themed decorations are truly stunning!

I love all the benefits that come with being a Disney Visa Cardholder, especially when I hear stories of Guests using their Rewards Redemption Card to pay for their vacation! I'm happy to confirm that you are indeed able to use the Redemption Card to pay the remaining balance on your Disneyland Resort Vacation Package. Under Acceptable Forms of Payment, you should see the Disney Rewards Redemption Card as a choice, so just select it and you should be good!

Be sure to take advantage of the special Photo Opportunities available only to Disney Visa Cardholders. You'll be visiting during a very popular time, so I would recommend purchasing Genie+ to take full advantage of Lightning Lanes to decrease the time you spend in standby queues. And definitely take the time to experience the new nighttime spectaculars, Wondrous Journeys and World of Color - ONE

Craig, I hope you found this information helpful and that you have an awesome time when you visit the Disneyland Resort! Please feel free to come to us again if you have any more planning questions. We're here to help.

    Have a Magical Day!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
