    If I book my Disney Hotel with a Third Party and my Tickets with Disney, because they are offering the Toy Story Magic Band to be picked up at Disney Springs, how would we access our Hotel Room etc. on arrival. We have previous active Bands on MDE. Thanks

    Hey, James David and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I am so excited to see you making the trip across the pond for another visit to the place "where dreams come true." You do not need your shiny, new Toy Story MagicBand to get access to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Just visit the front desk and they will either provide you with a room key card or another MagicBand. Once you pick up your new MagicBand at Disney Springs link it to your My Disney Experience account.

    I suggest taking your new MagicBand to the hotel front desk to make sure it links up with your room. We just got back from a wonderful vacation and used old MagicBands. They were linked to My Disney Experience but not synced up through the hotel front desk. Until it was synced, we could not open our room door.

    Disney Dad Tip: While you are at Disney Springs take a moment to check out the virtual reality experience at The VOID: Step Beyond Reality. Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire and Ralph Breaks VR pull you right in and let your imagination live.
