Hiya, friend! Thank you for visiting planDisney!
Guests visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort and staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel receive
many benefits, including
Early Theme Park Entry. But did you know, pending the Resort, you could also take advantage of
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours? The 30-minute Early Entry and a 2-hour Extended Evening add up and make the much-needed mid-day pool break much more enjoyable. If you are still undecided on which Resort to book, of the
Disney Deluxe Resorts or Deluxe Villa Resorts that will give you the extra evening hours, I’d recommend Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Disney’s Contemporary Resort as they are both quick walks to and from the Magic Kingdom. Due to the monorail access, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is another great option.
Unfortunately, Guests from the United Kingdom can only purchase 14-Day Magic and 7-Day Magic Tickets in advance. You can only purchase a 1-Day ticket to the Magic Kingdom upon arriving in the United States through the U.S. Disney World website, the My Disney Experience app, at Disney Springs, or the Magic Kingdom Guest Relations window. I recommend checking into your Resort and buying your ticket the day before visiting the park; that way, you won't have to waste valuable time when you wake up early to take advantage of the Early Entry.
Let me know if you need assistance planning your day in the Magic Kingdom. I would start your day with a Warm Cinnamon Roll from
Gaston’s Tavern, then head to Seven Dwarf’s Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle/Run, and Space Mountain. In the afternoon, I would grab lunch at
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe and then enjoy Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Jungle Cruise. By dinner time, I am usually ready to indulge in a DOLE Whip or something from
Main Street Confectionary before eating
Happily Ever After. But these are just some of my recommendations for a perfect day in the Magic. Kingdom,
I have plenty more to share!
I hope this helps. As always, visit planDisney with any additional Disney vacation planning needs!
See you real soon,
Brent
