Can I book my Disney hotel room only and add genie and park hopper at a later time?

Hey there, Victor - welcome to planDisney!

The Holiday Season is a magical time to visit The Walt Disney World Resort! While early December may not feel like the holidays everywhere, Disney is already in complete holiday mode! Which brings to mind a question I ask myself every year - how do they put all of those Christmas decorations up so fast? It really is like magic! Be sure to set aside some time during your visit to be a kid again and celebrate a holiday at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

Victor, you can book a room-only reservation now and add tickets at a later time. When you book a room-only reservation, a deposit equal to one night’s room price plus tax is immediately due. Further, when you purchase Theme Park tickets individually they must be paid in full at the time of purchase. With this in mind, I suggest that you book a Disney Vacation Package (including Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay and Theme Park Tickets) instead. By booking a Disney Vacation package, you will pay less upfront while maintaining the ability to upgrade your tickets to include the Park Hopper Option and Disney Genie+ service at a later time. Disney Vacation Packages require a $200 deposit at the time of booking, and your remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival. You get the time in-between to make payments as you wish. That sounds like a Holiday deal to me!

I hope this helps! If you have more questions while you plan, stop back by and ask me. After all, you’ve got a friend in me!

    Until Next Time,
