Hi Cortney, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question. We truly love helping plan Disney vacations, so you’ve come to the right place!
This is a great question about the cancellation policies for Disney’s Good Neighbor hotels. I just spoke with a Cast Member to verify those details, and I can confirm that the same policies that apply to other Disney vacation packages apply here. When booking through Disney for these hotels, you would need to pay a $200 deposit to make the reservation, but that deposit is refundable up to 30 days prior to your arrival. From 29 days through 2 days before your arrival, you would have to forfeit your deposit if you cancelled the reservation. Within 24 hours of arrival, you would be responsible for the full cost of the stay. By
calling to speak with a Cast Member, they can reserve a room and add theme park tickets for you, as well.
Also be sure to take a look at the
special offers currently available on
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. There are some great deals this spring and summer, and we may also see some new offers for fall and even for 2027 soon. By staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you would also be eligible to add a
Disney Dining Plan. If you have any children in your party who are ages 3 to 9, there is an amazing offer right now for
free dining for kids. When you book a Disney Resorts Collection hotel room and add a Disney Dining Plan for everyone in your party age 10 and over, children ages 3 to 9 will receive a dining plan for free! With the current offers on hotel rooms plus free dining for kids, that could add up to big savings – and that means more room for souvenirs and Mickey ice cream bars in the budget!
Cortney, I hope this information is helpful as you begin to plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! If you have any more questions,
stop back by and see me. I would be delighted to help you plan a visit that is “practically perfect in every way!”
Magically,
Casey
