Welcome to planDisney, Maggie. The
Disney Dining Plan options are so tempting as you can forget about bills and reality on holiday!
To add a Disney dining plan to your package, you must have booked your Disney package through the
Walt Disney World Travel Company. Assuming you have done so, all that remains is to decide between the
Disney Quick Service Dining Plan and the
Disney Dining Plan. The latter can be considered the fancier option as it includes Table-Service meals including Character Dining. Once you have decided, you can call the friendly Cast Members to add a dining plan to your booking.
The plan choice really depends on what works best for your Guest party. In our family, the flexibility of Disney Quick Service Dining best suits our young children and appetites. We often supplement our Quick Service plan with some
Character Dining, which our kids adore - and I adore seeing them in their element. If you would like to sprinkle some fine dining experiences throughout your stay, I highly recommend reserving a spot when they open 60 days before your arrival. Popular Table Service meals can be booked up very quickly.
In the words of Mary Poppins, in every job that must be done, there is an element of fun. Deciding on your Disney Dining Plan is no different. A fun and insightful
planDisney podcast was recently released detailing everything there is to know about Disney Dining Plans. It may be a perfect watch for you!
Maggie, I hope this information helps today. I know that many magical dining experiences await you at Walt Disney World! Have the best time!
