Hello there, Tara!
You’ll have the jolliest holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort. My family celebrated the holidays at
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and I was amazed to see that The Most Magical Place on Earth was even MORE magical with all of the holiday decor. I didn’t even know that was possible!
When it comes to making
advanced dining reservations, you can make reservations up to 60 days in advance of your arrival. If you want to make dining reservations as soon as they become available for a multi-day trip, you’ll need to make reservations 60 days in advance of each day of your vacation. If possible, I recommend making your reservations as soon as they become available at 6:00 a.m. EST 60 days before your vacation. You’ll have the best luck booking reservations at this time for highly sought-after restaurants like
Cinderella’s Royal Table or
Be Our Guest Restaurant.
Last year,
the Disney Parks Blog announced details about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in late June, and the tickets went on sale in early July. I’m not sure if these announcements will have the same timing this year, but I recommend checking the Disney Parks Blog over the next month or so to watch for announcements.
No matter what reservations you end up making, just as
Frozen’s Olaf sings, when you’re together with friends and family at the Walt Disney World Resort, “it [will be your] favorite time of year.”
May the magic be with you!Melanie
