Can I book Disney cruise onboard activities without having done the check in?

    Ahoy there, Natalia!

Welcome aboard planDisney! I love that you're planning ahead to make sure you're ready to book those must-do onboard activities. Trust me, having a game plan before your booking window opens can feel like having the Magic Mirror give you a sneak peek at what's ahead!

The great news is that you do not need to complete your Online Check-In before booking onboard activities. There are really just two things that need to happen first:
    • Your cruise must be paid in full.
    • Your activities booking window must be open.

Online Check-In happens during a completely separate window, and both it and your activities booking window are based on your Castaway Club status or whether you're sailing Concierge. Here's a quick look at the current timelines (days before sailing):

    • First-Time Guests – Activities Booking Window (75 days); Online Check-In (30 days)
    • Silver Castaway Club – Activities Booking Window (90 days); Online Check-In (33 days)
    • Gold Castaway Club – Activities Booking Window (105 days); Online Check-In (35 days)
    • Platinum Castaway Club – Activities Booking Window (120 days); Online Check-In (38 days)
    • Pearl Castaway Club – Activities Booking Window (123 days); Online Check-In (40 days)
    • Concierge Guests – Activities Booking Window (130 days); Online Check-In (40 days)

One thing to keep in mind is that a few experiences follow a slightly different schedule. Depending on your sailing, certain activities may not become available for booking until 30 days before embarkation for all Guests (excluding Concierge). The most popular example is Royal Gathering, where you'll have the opportunity to meet several Disney Princesses during one magical event.

If Royal Gathering is on your wish list, I recommend making it your first priority when reservations open because those complimentary spots can disappear faster than Dash racing across the finish line! If possible, have one person in your travel party complete Online Check-In while another is booking Royal Gathering.

I hope this helps as you count down to your Disney adventure and get ready for your booking day! A little planning now can make embarkation day feel as smooth as a ride on Aladdin's magic carpet, leaving you with more time to focus on the fun ahead.

Sea ya real soon as the days grow longer and the countdowns grow shorter,
    Dustin
