Hi, Dianna!
Welcome aboard
Disney Cruise Line! It sounds like you are looking to book a trip to Walt Disney World along with a magical sailing on a
Disney Cruise ship. Let me give you some tips for planning the perfect
"land and sea" vacation.
I would start by selecting your specific cruise. I suggest choosing a sailing that departs from
Port Canaveral as this is the closest port to
Walt Disney World. Once you choose a cruise that fits your travel dates, check out your options for Walt Disney World. You may opt to enjoy the magic of Walt Disney World pre- or post-cruise. While either works, I prefer to go to the theme parks first, then head to the cruise where you can relax after a few busy days visiting Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or even Disney's Animal Kingdom.
You will have the option of booking
ground transportation from your Disney Resort Hotel directly to Port Canaveral. You may book this online or by calling Disney Cruise Line. To really keep things simple, you can also book transportation to the Orlando International Airport (MCO) post-cruise for a seamless vacation.
Your
Disney Cruise booking and your
Walt Disney World booking will need to be done separately. Each will have its own reservation number, and you will need to check-in and make payments independent of each other. If you prefer not to book online,
give a call to Disney Cruise Line and they will be happy to get you started.
Take some time to look through cruise sailings and dates, as well as resort options at Walt Disney World. If you need help choosing a cruise itinerary or a Disney hotel, stop back and our planDisney team will be happy to give some suggestions. Bookings are available for 2027, so as soon as you find the perfect vacation, lock it in with a deposit and start your countdown to the magic!
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
Cathy
