How can I book a dinner and show with a Disney dining plan for the Rivers of Light? Will it take one or two table service credits? Does everyone in the party require a meal?

    Hi Jocelyn,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted to hear that you are planning to do a Rivers of Light Dining Package! On our last trip, my family did the dining package to see the show and it was quite lovely!

The Rivers of Light Dining Package is available with Tusker House Restaurant or Tiffins. Tusker House would require one table-service meal entitlement for each person in your party 3-years old or over on the Disney Dining Plan or Disney Deluxe Dining Plan while Tiffins would require two table-service meal entitlements. We chose to dine at Tusker House Restaurant for the character experience. The food was served buffet style and the characters were super fun!

Once you confirm your dining reservation, you will see which show you have been assigned. On a recent reservation I made for the Rivers of Light Dining Package, we were assigned to the first show. During your dining experience, the cast member who serves you will provide your vouchers to the show. I suggest that you arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the show so that you can have some choice of seats in the reserved seating area.

Jocelyn, on our prior visits, we have also found a Disney PhotoPass photographer in the amphitheater and have gotten the cutest picture just before the show!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
