    If we book dinner @ the Grand Floridian hotel is there a viewing area for the fireworks after without going into the park? Can you get a better view from the Floridian or the Contemporary hotels?

    Happy New Year!

    It is indeed also possible to view Wishes Nighttime Spectacular fireworks extravaganza from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The best place to view them from here would be at the end of the boat dock by Narcoossee's restaurant.  

    I would say that out of the two, Disney's Contemporary Resort offers the best view but my favourite place outside of the Magic Kingdom theme park to watch Wishes Nighttime Spectacular fireworks from is the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort. 

    The music is piped in through speakers located on the beach which means that you can still enjoy the whole performance but from a much more relaxed setting. You will also able to see the nightly Electrical Water Pageant float by on the Seven Seas Lagoon.
