Should I book all our dining plans in advance or can you get into some restuarants without advanced booking? Stefani

    Hi Stefani,

The Disney World restaurants are quite popular and tend to fill up quite quickly. Advance dining reservations can be made up to ninety days in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE or 407-939-3463.There are a number of locations that are extremely popular and even during a slower travel period will be booked well in advance.

Guests are not required to make reservations in advance, and there is always a chance that a table will be open if you were to stop and ask. If there is an opening, they will be happy to seat you even without a reservation, however you will most likely find the majority of the restaurants will be unavailable if you did not make an advance reservation. You did not mention your travel dates, but if they fall during a peak travel time, like a holiday or Spring Break, it will be very difficult to find an opening once you arrive on property. Your chances will always be better is you are traveling with a small party size. are open to where you eat and are willing to eat early or late typically.

My best suggestion is to make advance reservations for the locations you would like to eat at the most that way you know you will get into those. Anther suggestion would be to make all your reservations in advance and cancel later if you change your mind or where you will be. Most Disney restaurants do not have a penalty or fee for canceling even the day off., just be sure to ask.  Good luck!
