Can you book a dining package in Disneyland, but have a reservation for Calafornia Adventures on that day (Park Hopper) is that ok? Or do I need to have my park reservation the same as the restaurant location?

Hey there, Annette! Welcome, welcome to planDisney! As a Disney enthusiast and foodie myself, you're speaking my language! I’m thrilled to help you plan for your upcoming visit.

First of all, you've got a Park Hopper ticket—that’s a most excellent start! That's like having a magic carpet that can whisk you between two amazing parks! And since you asked about dining, let me tell you, that Park Hopper is exactly what allows you to enjoy dining experiences in both parks, no matter where your day begins. You can absolutely book a dining package at Disneyland Park, even with a Disney California Adventure Park reservation. It's like having your cake and eating it too...or, in this case, a churro!

There's just one tiny, but important, detail to keep in mind: Park Hopping—that magical time when you can begin jumping between both parks—begins at 11 AM PST. Since you've chosen Disney California Adventure Park as your starting point, just make sure your Disneyland dining reservation is for 11 AM or later.

I love the flexibility of a Park Hopper ticket! My perfect day often looks like this: starting with a dash of magic in one park, zooming over to the other for a delectable lunch and some dazzling entertainment, and then back to the first park for a nighttime spectacular that marks the perfect end to a perfect Disney day! That's the beauty of the Park Hopper in action!

And, oh my goodness, Annette, you've picked a spectacular time to visit! The Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will be in full swing, like a grand, glittering party! It's a time of brand-new entertainment and the triumphant return of beloved classics. I'm personally super excited for the return of the Paint the Night Parade at Disneyland Park! I’m already planning a summer trip with my pals! And, speaking of summer… While summer dining packages haven't been unveiled just yet (they're keeping us in suspense!), I'm crossing my fingers and sprinkling some extra pixie dust in hopes of a Paint the Night Parade dining package. Keep an eye on all the things—the Disneyland website, Instagram account, and the Disney Parks Blog—they'll be the first to announce it!

If you find yourself back in Disney California Adventure Park later in the evening, get ready for "World of Color – Happiness!". This brand new show, arriving just in time for the 70th Celebration, will be a symphony of water, light, color, and pure Disney emotion. I've been lucky enough to see several World of Color shows, and I have a feeling this one will be truly unforgettable!

Annette, I hope this helps you plan a truly magical and delicious Disneyland Resort adventure! If any more questions bubble up like the fountains in World of Color, please don't hesitate to ask. We're here to help make your Disney dreams a reality!

    Have a wonderfully magical day!
