Hi Rachael,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Choosing dining is one of the most fun steps in the planning process for me – in fact, I was just texting my Magical Momma crew this morning, because it’s almost time for me to book ours too! I love looking at the menus and dreaming about all the delicious treats we’re going to have in The Most Magical Place on Earth. Swoon.
Rachael, you’re right that normally pre-payment is required when making a dining reservation at
Cinderella’s Royal Table. However, because you’ll have a
Disney Dining Plan, Fairy Godmother will step in with a little “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo” reservation magic. You’ll still need to enter your credit card number to guarantee your reservation, but there should be box you can check to indicate you’ll be using the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan to pay for your meal, and you’ll be ready for your royal breakfast, no pre-payment required. If the reservation process turns into a pumpkin and doesn’t work out quite like this, please call (407) WDW-DINE and a Cast Member can help.
Since you’ll be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you’ll be able to make your reservations when you’re 180 days from your check-in date. If you’re booking online, you can jump on the computer or app at 6:00 a.m., and I do recommend this, because, just like Prince Charming’s ball, Cinderella’s Royal Table is a highly-desired event! My strategy is to make this reservation first and then move on to my other dining reservations. A dream is a wish your heart makes, and I’m sending you reservation pixie dust!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
