If you can book dining 60 days out + 10 additional days for onsite guest, how come on the actual booking screen it looks like the dining days only go out 60 days not 70? (for example today is 8/8/22 but can only see to 10/7/22)

Hey there, Brooke! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by to chit-chat about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.

Brooke, I think it is so fun that you've planned a magical vacation to Walt Disney World in January. There is no better way to kick off a new year.

The reason you aren't seeing the additional 10 days is that you aren't within your booking window yet, Brooke. All Guests can book advanced dining reservations 60 days out which you are seeing when you look at the calendar. On property Guests get that additional advantage of the length of stay up to 10 days booking window. The calendar will reflect your length of stay on the day you are able to make your dining reservations. If you are checking in on January 25th then you'll be able to see your calendar open up on November 26, 2022, to reflect how many days you will be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.

As I mentioned you can make your advanced dining reservations 60 days in advance for the length of your stay up to 10 days. You can begin making your selections online starting at 6:00 a.m. via your MyDisneyExperience account or by calling 407-WDW-DINE starting at 7:00 a.m. Some of the best places do fill up rather quickly, so I'd recommend setting your alarm clock bright and early and being online right before that 6:00 a.m. timeframe.

My favorite restaurant right now is The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs, it would be a great spot for you to try during your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. The restaurant is set right on the lake and provides stunning views as the sun goes down. The menu is quite large and there is something for everyone. My go-to order right now is the lobster roll served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries. Delicious!

I hope this helps clear up any confusion, Brooke. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
