Ahoy, Yvonne!
Welcome to planDisney, and excellent question! I’m so excited to experience this new dining location. I was just discussing with my husband his need to also be online when the reservations open up in hopes that one of us is successful in scheduling our future reservation. I’m sure our pirate-loving princess is going to enjoy checking out what
The Beak and Barrel is all about, too. She loves a good themed kids' beverage and a fun atmosphere. Oga’s Cantina and a Carbon Freeze are her go-to!
As a Disney Resort Guest, you can usually find that one of the benefits is the ability to
schedule advanced dining reservations 60 days before your visit. However, we are still waiting to hear what the reservation process is going to look like for The Beak and Barrel. As of now, The Beak and Barrel is anticipated to open late 2025, and details on making reservations have yet to be shared. My recommendation is to frequently check the official Walt Disney World website and the
Disney Parks Blog for any updates. I know the excitement is building up, so I, too, have found myself pacing and waiting somewhat patiently.
I have an October visit with a night to enjoy
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so I’m using my outfit planning for that trip as my distraction. TIP: Don’t forget to bring an extra bag with you, during your party night, to hold all your treats that you’ll be collecting! My family also usually even brings some of those snacks we collected during the party with us, the next theme park day, to keep us fueled between meals. So if you’re visiting for multiple days, that’s also a good tip to keep in mind.
Yvonne, I hope this helps prepare you for the upcoming announcement. The wait can be hard, but hopefully soon we all will be sailing over to book our reservations. Until then, drop anchor, hang out, and think of any other planning questions you may have that we can help with!
See you soon, Matey.
