    How do I book dining

    Welcome to planDisney, Linda!

From beignets to gumbo, from hot hors d'oeuvres to the grey stuff, well-loved Disney characters like Princess Tiana and Lumiere certainly knew how to celebrate food! And... in my favorite Disney Pixar movie, Ratatouille, Chef Remy reminds us, "If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff."

Now, Linda, speaking of the good stuff, let's dig into dining around the Walt Disney World Resort! As a guest who loves planning out our meals (sometimes months in advance), I appreciate your question. To make a dining reservation, you'll begin by logging into your My Disney Experience account and hovering over the "My Disney Experience" in the upper right-hand corner until you see, "Reserve Dining." It's important to note that you can begin making reservations 60 days in advance of your visit. If you are a Disney Resort Hotel guest, you can make reservations for your entire stay 60 days prior to your date of check-in.

If you'd like to book a reservation through your My Disney Experience Mobile App, begin by clicking on the plus sign inside the circle at the bottom of the screen. You'll then click on "Check Dining Availability." From there, you'll enter the number of guests, and select a date and time. All available restaurants within your search parameters will be shown. You'll see the available times and by clicking on a time, you can proceed to booking.

Linda, THIS PAGE shows all restaurants that accept reservations. Some restaurants are popular, so I highly encourage you to make reservations as soon as possible to have the best chance to snag your desired location, date, and time. However, I have also had good luck with last-minute reservations as guests' plans do change. If you find that a desired reservation is unavailable, I encourage you to keep checking often! While I can't guarantee anything, perseverance has paid off for me in the past.

Linda, I hope this helps as you're planning out your meals at the Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have other questions or would like restaurant recommendations, please come on back to planDisney where my fellow panelists and I have delicious opinions!

    Bon Appetit!
